Attached are a couple pictures of a crack I discovered while bead blasting the heads for my 1938 EL. The crack starts at the exhaust port and continues to about 2 to 2.5" from the valve guide hole. My questions are:
Is this common?
Should, can, this crack be "repaired"? If so hows the best method?
I've been working on this project on and off, mostly off, for about 5 years now. The heads are my biggest reason for not making any recent progress.
