Asking for a friend -
Trying to get the timing right and it seems that there is only one timing mark on the flywheel - a normal-appearing vertical mark with a "3" on the left and a "5" on the right. It seems that this mark comes up earlier in the timing hole compared to others. No other marks of any sort on the wheel.
Since this a post-41 knucklehead, it is possible that this flywheel set may have been used in any pre-73 motor. Does anyone have any idea as to what this "35" references and who may have manufactured these flywheels? And, is there anything odd about timing a motor with these wheels?
Any advise that can be offered would be appreciated as the bike is otherwise ready for AMCA judging.
Thanks,
Lonnie
