1938 Horn Assembly to Fork

Can anyone supply an exploded view of the horn to fork assembly for a 1938 big twin? My parts books only have the view for the later version. I checked the virtual library and didn't see anything there that shows the view I'm looking for.

What exactly are you looking for? It is a pretty straight foreword install. The '38 used a horn with to bracket riveted to the back. The mountings attached to the screws that hold the horn together, The rubber on top and spring plates on the bottom.

I was hoping to have the exploded view to make sure I get the correct hardware and also to insure I get the whole thing assembled properly. Palmer gives a pretty good description of the assembly. I will be able to get it assembled but if a illustration exists I'd like to see if.

It connects to the fender at the bottom and the fork spring perch on top. Thanks Robbie.

It doesn't attach to the handlebars, it attaches to the fork spring perch.

Chris's picture is to show the mounting. He wasn't trying to picture a 9 bolt horn.

It is now. But it won't be after 3 holes are installed.
