Rear fender hinged rear section Model V to Model E

Is the rear fender hinged rear section from a 1936 model V interchangeable with the same rear section from a 1936 to 1938 model E?

According to the parts book 1934-1938 V & E use the same part number.

So do RL and WL from the same time period, the tail end is all the same small and big twins.
