  • T-bar to buddy seat problem on a 46FL

I am having trouble attaching the buddy seat to the T Bar for my 46FL. Nothing reproduction in the photo except the seat cover, spring and pin.
The seat is yellow ink date stamped 45, the T bar is forge marked XE-39. But the T bar appears short by at least 9/16"

    Suggestions please?

Bolt will be at front of slot if seat bracket and tbar is align.
I moved my seat back one hole so seat bracket overhangs tbar one hole.

Yes I tried that, but the clips system for the buddy seat helper spring will not install without drilling out for bolt clearance. Rather not do that.

        Hi,
The installation of the buddy seat, T bar, spring/clip system is somewhat counter intuitive. I have a pdf file that explains and illustrates the installation but I can't seem to figure out how to attach it here. If you'll message me with your email address I'll try and send it to you.
