There is no part number as that is not a Harley-Davidson part. It is aftermarket of the era.

      Thanks Robbie,

      It's from Superior.

That is different! Yours looks like it would have been earlier. This one has a cover for access to the master link. Maybe evolution to the part by Superior. Don't know much about them or knuckleheads for that matter. Found this one in a pile of VL parts.

Here is a link to Todd in Arizona talk about listing one on ebay.

Mine picked my masterlink clip off for me, Numo!

Just as I was picking up my new wife at the apartment to run to Peoria races or whatever; backing up was a mistake.
Had to throw it up on a tree to get everything apart.
Its been a wall-hanger now for two decades.

A fossil from a barn scrounge, it was a left-over because it had been 'originally' chromed, which ate it over the years.
The plating smells more like '50s to me, although the hoard held much earlier.
I found two wheels, one pristine under paint, and the other 'dinosaur bone' because it had been chromed.

"Dinosaur bone" served many a mile after blast and paint.
            Sometimes I don't hate paint.
            But chrome is still evil.
