    1942 Harley Davidson FL

Recently picked this one up from an estate. It has been sitting since 1999. After I checked a few things and cleaned a few things it started fairly easily. Nice original engine with aftermarket cylinders, a late 1947 frame and a 1939/40 swept leg springer. Still need to tinker on a few things to make it rideable.

    Howdy sir,

Dang, beautiful, just what I want next. Only rubs salt in the wound of the local complete stock 46FL i unexplainedly procrastinated on which slipped away for only $15K.
    Cheerio,

You sure were in the right place at the right time, Jerry. Christmas came early for you.

Very nice. Hopefully you got it right.

What's the plan? Restore? Ride? Flip?

          Agreed, nice score.

I’d get it mechanically sound and leave it as is.

For sure I am going to basically leave it alone but I might change out the front end to an offset considering the frame is late 47. I've had it running and put probably 10 miles on it and it does need some TLC. Jerry
