The skeptic in me says, if a fellow posts a video of a bike where parts are falling off it (RH tank badge) then maybe it's slightly "thrown together"? ....but that's just me, not looking through rose colored glasses.

i always like the qualifier or caveat of "i'm not an expert on these bikes" and in this case "a great winter project" could mean a project involving multiple winters... and summers. and years....
