    11937 front rocker air nipple

    What does the cap on the air nipple look like . Any one have a picture .I think i have the right fitting but the cap is brass and looks similar to a valve stem cap . It is knurled . Thanks

      What year or years was that nipple in use and for what purpose? I've never noticed one before. Inquiring minds need to know. Thanks!

        It was a fix used in 1936-1937. The oil return line from the cups around the valve springs would plug up. An air nozzle inserted in this fitting would clear them out.
