Morning what is the Different between Early or Late 1936 Knucklehead Lever Knob on the Top maybe a Picture will be Helpfull Thanks an nice Christmas Time.

There were three levers used in 1936. The first, shown here, had no reinforcing piece spot welded to it. It is not known when the reinforcing piece was added. Shortly after production started the new lever came in. It was used until the end of springer production in 1957. The 1936 parts book shows the early lever in the lever alone photo but shows the late lever in the photo of the whole assembly. Only the VERY EARLY EL's would have the Early one.
