I was in the desert on the little 68T100R burning up some 20/50 weight from earilier in the season(cool). I was down right -forkin hot. So I dumped straight 70 on top of that. The viscosity of 70 is almost a gel - it's real entertaining just pouring it. Bike ran like a top. Nice and quite for obvious reasons.

Some NAPA carry 60, 70 and 80 weight.

Who cares what type. Keep your 50 clean.

I am just running HD 50 weight in mine and use the same for the tranny.
Dont know if it was the 60 weight that I used for a change, but the oil was coming out of the rocker tins. I guess it finds the easiest way out, adjusted it a little and went back to 50 weight.
      Hope it works.

It's hot here in the South, so I use 60 weight in the summer, 50 in early spring and late fall. Either H-D or Rev-Tech.

          Thank you Lonnie,

I was starting to get worried that I was using the wrong viscosity. Here in Oklahoma where the temps are usually hovering around 100 every day for two months during the summer I use HD 60 weight. In the fall (mid to late october) I go back to 50 weight. Glad I'm not the only one.
