    What is this aftermarket part?

    At the Mama Tried show this 41 EL had a part under the right side footboard. I guessed a parking brake for sidecar rig? Im sure you guys know.

          It is a right side stand. Nothing to do with brakes, sidecar or otherwise.

                      What would be the reason for wanting a right side stand? It looks to be very lightweight in design. My late friend Davy Dickinson put a right side stand on his Sporty years ago to keep the oil out/off of his clutch plates.

                          you use both stands so you can change the front wheel.
