  • Forum Member Needs Some Help

    Hi Folks -

From time to time people will contact the Forum moderator for some help with posting or to ask for help with valuation or identification. That is the case with this post. A new member is having trouble getting going with successful posting so I offered to post some things for them. Here is their message requesting help determining approximate value of a part.
JUST FOUND these in the storage.
Still in the unopened box OEM NOS. Anyone have any idea what this would be worth? I generally focus on 1942 Harley-Davidson XA or other military motorcycles so I have no idea.

That would be an exhaust valve for a 1936 to 1947 Knucklehead. I think it has as much value in the OEM box as it would for someone to use in a bike. I prefer to use aftermarket valves that are up to todays fuel instead of OEM. I gave up on OEM valves in the 70's. I do not know what the value might be. Jerry
