    Front Fork Shock 54200-45

Is the front fork shock absorber assembly (p/n 54200-45) rebuild-able? Can it be taken apart?
    Thanks,
    William

There are vendors in Hemmings Motor News who advertise shock rebuilding.

Thanks Chris. I'm not a member or subscriber though I searched & checked with one Hemming advertiser, A-1 Shock Absorber Co. in Silverthorne, CO, and they said the shock is too small for their repair service. The hunt continues. William

OK, from what I see he rebuilds lever type shocks. I also see he will re-sleeve and rebuild Wagner master cylinders. Even has a pic of one on his site. You may want to call him and send a pic and see what he says. Apple Hydraulics 800-882-7753. He is upstate N.Y.
