Hi Eric, run with it. I saw that site. I'm tied up right now, but I'll let you know how my test turns out. If you do some first let us know.

Hi Jim, I'm interested, is your pressure cap factory or home made? I have an idea from your description on making one, even if I just use it as a plug it would be an improvement over my POC made in two minutes one. Any chance of a picture? Thanks

          FNG1,

How do those tanks fit? Was there a lot of work required to get them to fit properly ? I assume they would need some minor body work before painting.

Hi Rollo, I got them at a discount because they were damaged. Just a small ding on the underside. I had to adjust up and down at the rear mount. All the frame and motor clearance looked fine. The contour is off from side to side and it looks like the right filler neck is off compared to the left but not by a lot. My dash is a repop and I had to fiddle fork around to get it to match up. The top contour and the dash opening will need body work. After all that I have a set off tanks that will look good and get my project on the road. This bike barely survived life as a chopper and was far from original when I got it. So for a stock look, reproduction parts were the way to go for me.
