I hope you got the correct stuff for your project. There were 2 different case castings used in '36/'37 with 5 different machining processes. There were 3 different lids and two different kicker covers.

ACEMOTO- Just ignore this clown. He is the same guy trying to give you a tutorial on how to paint a rear fender on a 36 Knucklehead. Ask him for photos of his 36EL and see what excusses he comes up with and how fast he disappears. 46EL

I give no excuses. If you want to see a picture of it dry assembled I will be happy to show you. It is just waiting its turn. And notice that I haven't disapeared. The information i gave him was correct.

Just like you persistent hemorrhoids never totally disappear. Nobody ever really needs, wants or ASKS for one. But when you least expect it they arrive on the scene and cause misery. Instead of worrying about what every one else is doing why don't you walk away from the keyboard and go build or work on something that is "waiting its turn". Remember that you like all of us are not getting any younger. And if someone wants help or asks for your opinion then help that person. Make life easier for everyone who is sick of your BS. Respectfully, 46EL

I don't understand what could be considered BS in Chris's post. To summarize his post, he hoped the op finds his parts and gave out some info on the needed parts. So what's wrong with that? As far as finishing projects, no one knows what life issues are going on, with other people, to delay completions. It's also irrelevant to how much info one has to help others.

Don't be concerned with 46EL's post. Ever since I chastised one of his friends years ago for price gouging he takes every opportunity to denigrate me. It doesn't bother me as I simply consider the source. :-)

I think this would be a better forum with a moderator.

Why, nobody to chase! All a moderator does is warn people and recommend there removal to higher ups. We have nobody here to throw off but Chris or 46EL. They are scapegoat by the forum dwindling membership (The only poor assholes available). Chris is a good hearted soul. I met a whole lot worst in this world. This forum three years ago was hopping. We talked motorcycles, politics and what ever else came along. We policed it ourselves and had a great time until the whining assholes that are not any longer here ruined it. That's right, there somewhere on another forum ruining that one. Now we have nobody. Now you have this, all five members or so. Still want a moderator? Anybody visiting that would like to see this forum back to what it was, speak up! Bob L

Yeah Bob, POOR POOR Chris. He loves this crap and being the center of attention suits him just fine just like a 4 year old kid who doesn't know any better. His BS is all fun and games until he takes a big steamy dump on your front lawn. Simple, if someone asks for help then help them. Otherwise MYOeffingB. If he wants the job monitoring price gouging and telling people what things are worth and how fenders should be painted then we should change the name of the Club to "Chris Haynes's Antique Motorcycle Club of America". 46EL

So Bob, I gotta ask you. if someone posted a link to one of your auctions or your website then called you a "profiteer" you would be OK with that?
Or if you listed a motorcycle on ebay and some jerkoff on some forum with "AMCA SENIOR JUDGE" emblazoned under his name and a few of his his buddies posted a link to the auction and tore the bike apart and ruined any chance of you selling it that wouldn't bother you? That crap that everyone thought of as good entertainment on this forum was a black eye as far as this club is concerned as it is NOT what we are all about. Like i said before it is all great until the steamy load is on your front lawn and you have to clean it up. POOR POOR Chris??? 46EL.

I was looking for parts for 2 1936 and 2 1937 restorations . I found those parts and the man in Windsor Ct. thats doing the restoration has access to the Parker book and the phone numbers to the quote un quote 36 and 37 Experts . These bikes that are being put together by AMCA members are bikes that are a collection of parts from 50 bikes and I think some of this 100 percent judging stuff goes a little to far. In this case the parts I was looking for are in the house and on the bikes .
A useful thing by people on this site would be to help me find a rear head for a 39 knock as that holding up that project .
Thanks in advance for any help finding the rear head for the 39 Knuck.
call 917-541-8400 or email acemoto@me.com with any information that will help me find the 39 head.
