I know that this issue has been discussed previously, but my searches did not answer my question, so here we go again.
I don't have an original oil pressure sender switch for my 47 FL so, like other members, I resorted to an aftermarket unit. Also like other members, I'm experiencing the same problems with leaks and false low-pressure indication when the machine reaches running temperature. Obviously, these units open at a higher spring pressure than the stock ones, consistent with by the tests results posted on this forum by others.
Does anyone know if there's a quality, operational aftermarket unit out there that will work properly that I can use until I find a good OEM sender?
Does anyone have a good used or New-Old-Stock OEM unit for sale?
Thanks...
