Restoring HD headlight/spotlight buckets and bezels

Does anyone know of a place that restores buckets and bezels or maybe a member that does it. I have a lot of buckets that need a little work.

I don't know of a specific person but have seen those services offered in the antique Automobile circles with ads in things like Hemmings.

You might be able to do it yourself, Jerry!

I used a bowling ball for a mandrel to straighten my John Brown bezel.

(The finger holes provided a relief for the "uvula".)

Tom I know I could probably do it myself but that is the kind of work that I do not really enjoy. I find that I am a better blacksmith than a jeweler.

I have a bunch of marginal buckets and was hoping somebody would be interested in a parts for labor type trade.

There is a guy in pa that does it. I know that is not much help. He sets up at Hershey. I'll try to find his name

www.halfillinger.com He is 20 minutes from oley. Probably not cheap. try a local music shop. they may know of someone that repairs tubas and trumpets.
