ES Serial number

I've always read that "ES" serial numbers didn't exist but I ran across one recently which looked damn factory to me. Anyone else ever seen one?

As the story goes, the S was never stamped on motors. I've never seen an S on a motor.

I have heard that the "S" was stamped on some export only units. How about a picture of it Eric, it might be educational to us?
