    shipping a lower end

    Whats the best way to ship a completed lower end and insure that it will arrive with all the parts on it that are supposed to be on it and in one piece without over kill.

    Build a custom crate that the motor mounts are bolted into. Fully inclosed.

      Most moving companies are able to construct a box around your motor with firm plastic blocks to prevent side-to-side movement. Bolt the motor and block it in with 2x4's.

        Buy and Ice Chest, a big one, I have shipped a lot of motor in them. Way easier than building a crate and way better.

          I did that with a JD bottom end I sold. Worked like a champ.
