Because for Indians, imports, and 'exotics', there just no substitute for the enormity of Davenport!

I absolutely loved Wauseon, and dang near died in the heat! (I was handicapped)... The biggest positive over d-port is the track, the view from the grandstands. It seemed like I was a lot closer to the racers, and there was no darned mesh fence or high wall like d-port's. And the sun was at our backs by the evening time.
Tom, you're right about the scarcity of Indian parts at Wauseon, and the numerous opportunities at d-port. .. I think I'll do both again!

Thanks to everyone for the insights. I may post some items here, but I really want to sell everything extra I have, and if I unload a few of the best items here, then it won't be worth the trip. I'll think about it, though.

No offense to the folks asking him to list his parts "on line" BUT...people complain (including me) that the meets aren't what they used to be because of "on line" buying and selling. Here we have a guy who wants to load his truck with Knuckle parts and drive hundreds of miles to an AMCA meet and folks are telling him to list them "on line" instead???? I don't shop "on line" I love being out at these meets and riding bikes around, racing, finding parts, drinking a beer or two ...that's what it's all about for me...if the parts completely dry up at these meets it'll all be over...
With that being said...WAUSEON over Rhinebeck every time!

Hello yes Duffy and Hollywood are correct.Lots of tire kickers on the web site. It's getting that way on Ebay as with there money back guarantee you send out a used part the guy looks at it says it's not as advertised .Then Ebay takes your money. The guy gets to keep the part and the money.Plus you paid the shipping so he could get it for free. When selling parts go to the meets That way its a done deal. That way you don,t have to Hear the story about how i have to ask my wife if we can afford the part .

                Why didn't I think of that! ;-)

Seriously though, since my income has dropped over 60% I can no longer afford to travel across the country for swap meets. eBay or something for sale on line is about the only way I can buy anything.

i bought a carb off of buzz's site and the guy sent me half of what was in the photos. when i emailed him he said " oh you want the part that is worth like $500." he took it back but i'm out shipping on the return. person to person sales are better that is for sure. no mistakes or confusion. just sadly digital sales is the way things are going.

If the last couple post are representative of the quality of humans who frequent Wauseon I'm glad I won't be there. I'll just keep finding parts as I always have. I used to really respect AMCA members over normal folks. But once again I have been proven wrong.

No problem Robbie, I crack the first cold beer at the next meet next week with AMCA babies and will have a blast without you. For the life of me, I can't figure out how you came up with this asinine assumption out of this thread. Bob L
