Ok, I could go on in blissful ignorance or ask. What is the hole at the top of the case right above the cam for. I know it goes to the breather bore but what for. I see all the passages connected to it. I have purchased gear cover gaskets where there is a hole and where there is not. I have never seen a cover that makes an allowance for this passage way, yet it seems to have some purpose, or was it just part of the machining process.
