  • Steering Damper (Frame Head Bracket) 36 to 46

Whats the difference between the three Frame Head Brackets pt #4792-36 & #4792-41 & #4792-46 and was name change in the book in 46 from Frame Head Bracket to Steering Dampner Rigid Disc a typo in parts book cause I have never heard it refered to as such. And if anyone has a picture of all three changed parts side by side that they can post so you can see the differences, that would be nice . Thank you very much.

I believe you can fine pictures in Palmer's book. The difference in them is legnth. As the rake of the neck increased the legnth of the bracket had to get longer.

Thanks Chris, Thats exactly what I wanted. I remember reading about that in Palmer's once I looked thru it again. Age is a serious disability in the memory retention department. I'm actually surprised at the huge bank of information that you seem to be able to pull up at will. Thanks I'll try to research my questions a little bit more throughly before submitting them. I really thought I had checked in Palmer's.
And since I'm on the subject, I've heard you mention that his new book is almost ready. Any idea when it will be ready for shelves.
      Thanks
      FNA.
