Fender Rivets for 39 BT

I am putting my fenders together for my 39 BT. I purchased 3/16 x 3/8 military rivets. Are those correct for my application? I have gotten varied opinions. If not, does anyone know who sells correct rivets?

He has the rivets. He also makes valences, etc. for the three piece fenders.
