Would a number 2 lens be correct for a early 1937 and number 5 correct for a mid 1939 model? Thanks

Thanks for responding. I was not aware there were any other numbers on these lenses except above the word "TOP". I just looked at a couple lenses here and both of them have numbers above the word "TOP" but nothing at the end of the bottom line of text that ends with " PAT'S PEND." Just to clarify, is that where you are saying the numbers should be?
