    Luggage racks

    Does anyone know if all of the flatbar steel luggage racks were riveted? Were the early ones brazed or welded? If so, anyone have pictures?

    Originals from H-D were riveted and painted. Aftermarket types also existed in chrome as well as painted. I believe the chrome ones were welded.
