Kicker cover bushing

Can anyone tell me the proper finish for the kicker cover clutch arm upper bushing on a 47 knuck. Cad or Parkerized or paint. Should the bushing be removed for finishing. I was told the bushing comes out. I thought it was cast in? Thanks

Parkerized. I glass bead the area and then hold it up side down in the parker pot. When done mask off the bushing and bead the cover. Bob L
