  • plumber manifold gaskets

What is the name of the plastic material that is being used now on plumber manifolds for gaskets as opposed to the brass ones? Anybody have experience with these? Has anybody used them on a brass manifold?

You can also get them from Mold Threads, Inc. It's the only way to go.

You can get the peek seals from several places, but Cotton does a nice job surfacing the manifold and fitting the seals to it. If you have air leaks at the manifold, the bike will never run right. Cottons turn-around time on these is good too.

Peek is the way to go. These ferrules seal up with just a snug. I'm running Peek seals on three of my bikes. Tom had my JD manafold back to me in three days. Mr. Cotton is very good at what he does. Bob L
