  • oil pressure gauge for 37E Knuckle

Hi, own a 37E Knuckle with the orig. hydro-mechanic oil pressure gauge. My actually
problem is, that gauge is leaking oil. Need recommendations "how i can solve that
problem"? Thank you in advance - Georg AMCA # 2781

Carefully take it apart and put new leather packings in it. They deteriorate with age. There are a few people who rebuild them, Mike Lange for one.

I have taken several apart for cleaning and I have never found leather anything in them. Simply the reinforced rubber sandwiched in between the steel plates. Take it apart. Clean everything throughly and reassemble.Tighten the screws alternately as you would when tightening the head on an engine.
