  • need help on my 1915 harley

this is a fresh rebuild, I have spark, compression, and have made sure all fluids are topped off, the carb is pissing fuel from the float area! and cannot get a fire or anything that resembles it wanting to start. I have read and watch videos but kind of stumped? Does anyone know someone in the south Texas area near Galveston or Lake Jackson area that might be able to help? on advice on what I can do to make the carb stop leaking and get this motor to fire? Thanks Curtis I made sure all the timing was correct when assembling the motor.

    If its "pissing fuel", WW1,

You obviously don't want it to fire, or you may get a fire.

Are you sure your float actually floats, and did the floatvalve pass the 'suck test'?

Does your carb resemble this one?

It won't fix the "pissing", but did you bubble-test the manifold assembly? Happy to help if we can,
