I need to disassemble the clutch on a 26 JD. I’ve removed the actuator, 6 bolts and hub nut. Is the clutch rod connected on the right side of the transmission or should it pull out like a later model rod? Also what is needed to pull the cover off to expose the plates? The shaft doesn’t appear to be tapered but I assume I need to use a puller. Any information on any phase of disassembly is appreciated.
