  • J crankcases

I seem to remember someone was looking for some J crankcases to repair a motor following a blow up.
I've tried to find the post but have had no luck.
Today I have had a call from a mate who has a set for sale and was asking if I knew of anybody who might want/need them.
So if someone wants a nice set of matching number 1919 cases and a set of spoked flywheels get in touch with me via this site.

      Mark,
I'm waiting on photos but I don't think they are marked USA but time will tell
As reported to me the belly numbers are I9 181 and the engine number is 19A 8111 bu I've yet to sight them.

Mark, how and where was 'USA' marked on WW1 cases? Did Indian also mark their engine cases during the war?

I’m not sure if Indian did it but on the military Harley’s, most major components have a roughly 1/4” tall USA stamped into them in various locations.
