H-D Transmission identification, help

My knowledge of H-D transmissions is very limited. I'm pretty sure this is a H-D transmission; and the 26 might designate the year, maybe.

1. Am I correct that this is a 1926 trans?

2. What models does it fit?

3. Can it be used in other years. I have seen these on the "internet", and they seem to have 1928-29 designated on them; but still had the 26 prefix

When get around to listing it for sale; I will post it in the proper place on the forum. If I take Harley parts to Oley; I will probably take this too.
