Well Steve those certainly are interesting links and the first keying in on the Cannonball now there's a market. I thought the V-Tronic 612 voltage regulator was a neat item.

Mike, i'm not familiar with the V-Tronic 612 voltage regulator. i've been on their site looking to see what i can find, but when i do a search of 612 voltage regulator on their site i get a "critical error on this website" message... i'd appreciate if you could give me a bit more info on the 612 regulator. i have converted to a 2 brush and have one of Gene Harper's regulators i am going t use.

Steve whats the difference between a J and the JDH ? is it only the L/H crank case and every think else is the same ? Rob

Rob, i am not the person to ask...... i don't know anything about H's other than my general observations of pictures i've looked at. i think pretty much nearly but not all differentiates a JDH engine from a standard J-type. i would suggest the opposite of what you may have meant to say, "Other than the LH crankcase, everything is pretty much different on a JDH than a J."

There was a 1928 Parts Book Supplement that tells you all you need to know.
It needs to be read carefully.

Tommo cheers but could not enlarge it to read , Eric G,day to you I should have contacted you straight up Rob from Australia .. I know the fella selling this JDH through I would bid on it , so there are a few different parts on the cam and lifter said but the rolling frame would be the same ..Rob
