    Schebler repair

I have a DLX 66 carby that has a damaged bowl thread.
Is there a repair procedure available to recover this body?

    Thanks,
    Mick

Ouch! At least that is a brass body, so you should be able to make a sleeve for it. If the threads are still OK maybe you can fill the cracks with silver solder and re-machine. We must have forum members who have actually done such work.

      Looks like it froze, Mick!

Silver-solder would be my choice, of course.

When the threads are compromised, I sweat on sleeves routinely.
