Thank You Steve. I followed your beautiful restoration, and that is one sweet mount! But...i'm a just doing a simple Board Track M/C--haha. Somehow, i think those words might bite me in the backside.

yeah, i'm "doing" another '27, twill be a "cut-down," something i can ride on today's streets with thoughtful "abandon." i started a build thread on my intention, i have been talking to different JD folks to help my decision making in the direction i want to take the project, as a way to honor the era and the memory of my dad. i have been collecting parts here and there, have a couple corny ideas in terms of parts i intend to use to move the project forward and will be posting on my thread before year's end. Anyway!!! keep posting on your project, please!!!

Good Luck with your Chop JD Steve. If it's anywhere near the restoration on your 27', it should be drop dead gorgeous! I'll try to post my progress, even if it's time delayed documented.

Don't know if this 29' setup is still available, it was not long ago. I would have to contact if you're interested, but it is a complete sale--no variations. Don't remember the $$ either--getting older. haha.
