  • 24JE info?

I've read the stuff on the Techs Web site, and I know it's a 61" engine. Any other details on the JE specifically that differentiates it?
Seems like from the Tech's Web info that the JE was a 'fast motor' from it's inception in '20 until '23, then it just signified the generator model 61" in '24 and '25, the last years of that model designation.

Is that info reliable? Any other information?

    Thanks in advance.

For 1924 and 1925, the 61" model was designated as a JE (battery ignition) or an FE (magneto ignition) and the E was actually part of the stamped in VIN.
It is a standard, run of the mill production 61" model and is not a "fast" E motor of earlier vintage.

Thanks Mark, that's what the Tech's Web info indicated, just wanted to confirm.
