    Hi Folks,

I disassembled my 1919 trans for inspection and cleaning. I'm missing one photo, showing the order of parts on the main shaft, (sprocket side). Please have a look at my photo, and tell me if the order is correct. I'm almost certain that the cage and rollers are upside down, but also looking to confirm the order.

At minimum, I'm looking at converting to the 6304-2RS bearing for the kicker side, and am still investigating the conversion to the 6208-2RS for the sprocket side.

My main shaft has the soldered split bushing which seems to be in pretty good condition. If anyone can lead me to a comprehensive post about this conversion I would appreciate it. Seems to be some mention of a .050 hardened washer being needed as a spacer.

    Thanks!

    -Brett

You are correct. The bearing cage is facing the wrong direction in your picture. The open end should face the clutch.
