    Engine and frame together again after 70 year of separation

    First pic of the start of the dry build of my 1916 twin- still a lot to be added but it was great to fit the two pieces together again. Engine has been completely overhauled and tuned in a test bench. Maybe next year could see it rolling again.

    Nice! Is there a backstory to this? 70 years ago the engine came out of the bike but the pieces stayed with each other the whole time...something like that?

      Correct- the frame and sidecar was in the 2nd floor of the barn whereas the engine was found in a stall below. Dissassembled before WW2
