I'm doing a short run of the 1929 Harley JD front brake stabilizer center plate. I want to see if anyone here needs one so I know how many to make. I'm only making it because I need two for myself.
It's part number 4117-29 and is part if the anti-chatter assembly. Below you can see pictures of the first one that I've made along side an original in typical condition. There are also pictures of it installed in the brake backing plate as well as how it connects to the fork. The special nut on the front rocker stud is shown. I'm going to make a run of these too.
The plates are a bit of a pain in the arse to make so they will be $80. The nuts will be $10.
Post or PM me if you want one or more.
Note that on the part that I made, I still need to drill and tap the 1/4-24 hole for the angled grease fitting. The plate will have this hole when they are done.
Thanks
Mark Masa
