That's an old ad reprinted years ago in Earlyriders. The bike appears to be a DL or early RL, 1929-33 Harley 45. Tandem seats were in many ways superior to "Buddy Seats." And considerably less "intimate" when it came to carrying a passenger of the same sex as the driver.

I have an earier model for my 14 twin, I really like em and am always looking for another for my other machines. However I paid 150 bucks for mine about 20 years ago, prices have gone up! That's why I have not got another. One thing I don't care for about them though, if your passenger is of any real size, it throws the machines handling all to hell. That's what I have seen and been told anyways, I still like em though.
