Need info to glue '61 XLH Tank emblem

I have a set of tank emblems for a '61 XLH Sportster. The emblems broke at the screw hole. I am looking for advice on gluing (???) these back together. They were NOS and are made of 1961 vintage plastic.

Use Goop® if your glueing the badge from the backside. Comes in a tube. Sold everywhere. Just make sure the Goop® doesn't melt the plastic.
