So what are these?

I thought these were rear siren parts, they were in with a box of old siren stuff in the stash. After looking into several siren pages in parts books, I am not sure they are what I thought they might be. They almost identical. They started out as 9/16" hex stock turned down to 3/8" on one end, 3/8" - 24 threads, and .349" with 5/16" - 24 threads on the other. Both of the small ends are 31/32" long. The only difference is that one 5 1/8" long and the other is 6" long overall.

Anyone got an answer to this one?

They are 83020-56 and 83022-56 Servi-Car rear axle housing studs for 1956 to 73.
