  • Linkert Carb

On a resent trip to Amarillo, Texas I came across a guy who wanted to sell a box of old Harley parts. (Needless to say the box now sits on a bench out in my shop.) Anyway, one of the items is a Linkert Carburetor Model# M-74. The chart in Palmer's book shows this to be OEM on later-1950 thru early-1951 F and FL models. It's in excellent shape.
Could someone tell me what it's worth. I don't really want to sell it. Just courious. I don't know what old carbs sell for.

Those carburators are quite a common site at flea markets and I wouldn't pay more that 50 to 100 for a perfect one. Just my opinion.
