      Logically one would guess the WJ (Sport Twin) or the XA. I don't have saddle time on either so can't confirm ... Perry

        36-40 EL model, factory spec'd all around, with a good balance job. Smooth as glass, with a very pleasant exhaust note.

          I take my '20 Sport model to modern shows and amaze the new bikers by proclaiming that I have the smoothest Harley ever made. They all laugh and joke until I start it up and balance a nickel on the tank. It's got old original (rusty) paint but purrs like a kitten.

                OK, not very pretty or a good picture, but it is 100% original and a winner circle bike.........and the smoothest Harley ever built.........

                    Well Louie all I can say is if given the choice I'd pick a bike like that over a showroom example any day! Very Cool!

                              Where did they get the idea for that? 1920? What influenced that design? Was it a proprietary engine?
