1910s Harley Davidson Original Dealer Sign

Hello all,

I came across quite a nice old sign on ebay. I've seen this repro'd but not as original and thought to share it for its interest factor.
It seems to be depicting a very early flat track racer.
I have no connection to the seller, just wanted to share.

I've been seeing metal signs like that for quite a few years now. There is no evidence to say it is genuine, or original vintage, or from Harley-Davidson. The seller want $3,900.00 but offers no proof, or documentation to substantiate his claim. I'd give the guy $5.00 for and nail it to the wall in my shop.

They were marketed in the 90's by an outfit called "Cyclops", George!

I have that sign also and some others. I would guess I paid 10 -15 dollars in the 90s new. A $3900 sale would be the day that 2 fools met!

Really regret breaking one of the Indian Four wall thermometers trying to "calibrate".

Most I "fauxtina'd" before "fauxtina" was kewl, and gave away. Who knew?
