I recently obtained an original Harley-Davidson Dealer decal in its original box. The part number on the box is #99322-61. The decal is approx. 12 1/2" x 7 1/4". The colors are black/yellow/reddish-orange. It is a water slide decal manufactured by the Badger Decaleomania Co., Milwaukee 4 Wisconsin. I assume they were applied to the door or window glass of a shop. Can anybody tell me the year or years that these decals were used? Thank you.PICT0054.jpgPICT0055.jpg

As with all H-D part numbers the last two digits(61 in this case) are the first year the item was cataloged for use. By the mid '60s the Double Diamond logo was being seen on Batteries and other accessories, and on the tank emblem by '66. The bar and shield at that time was considered "old fashioned" and began to disappear from advertising. So '61-'65 is a pretty good guess at range...Robbie Knight Amca #2736
