Servicar truss rods

Anybody got any tips on putting the servicar truss rods back on a rear end that has been taken apart and rebuilt?

Be sure area of rod toward center of housing which contacts housing for support is in correction location and take all slack out of rod. Rod should not have tension on housing, just snug it up.
