  • Harley single sidevalve and OHV pinion gear

Can anyone give me dimensional details on the pinion gear used on 1926 up Harley singles. Diameter, number of teeth, overall length, tooth length, bore ID, etc.
I'm trying to sort out some bits.
    Thanks
    Mark

Dear Mark, 603-26 right? I've got one in this 1930 C motor in bits. od is 1 3/8", id 11/16", 20 teeth with keyway at 12 o'clock and timing mark at 6 o'clock. Overall depth 1/2" with geared depth 7/16" (1/16" inner shoulder). Tooth depth 1/8". Let me know if you find a bunch of decent ones. Likewise for the generator drive gear.
