Can anyone tell me where I can buy spokes for both front and rear wheels of my 1920 Flat Twin Harley Davidson.
My father rode the bike from early 30's until about mid 40's. I am now starting to ride it around but have noticed that some of the spokes are getting loose. Tyres have been on rims since mid 80's when whole wheels were painted. I have not been able to adjust nipples but have not put enough pressure on to break any spokes. I suspect they have never been adjusted since 1920. The outside of the nipples is 0.250 diameter and about 3/4" long. Spokes in the rear wheel at each end are about 0.155 diameter for about 5/8" and reduce down to about 0.125". The front wheel spokes about 0.140" at each end and reduce down to about 0.115" to within 5/8 of each end.
spokes are about 9" long plus the thread inside of nipple.
I have made another batch of spring capped oilers BO902 if anyone need some.
any information will be gratefully received.
